13 THE MUSICAL JR. Auditions
Ages 11–14
San Antonio Broadway Theatre is excited to announce auditions for 13 The Musical JR.!
This high-energy musical follows Evan Goldman as he navigates friendships, fitting in, and the wonderfully complicated world of being thirteen. Performers will take part in a fully staged production culminating in a performance at The Carver Community Cultural Center.

13 THE MUSICAL JR. — VIDEO AUDITIONS
We are only accepting video audition submissions for 13 The Musical Jr.
Video auditions must be submitted by September 12, 2026 at 8:00 PM.

Audition materials are available through the Google Drive link provided on the audition sign-up page.
Students should:
Review the available character audition packets.
Choose the character they would most like to audition for.
Prepare all material included in that character’s packet.
If your performer is unsure which role they would like to audition for, please prepare the Ensemble Audition Packet.
Students may be considered for any role, regardless of the character packet they prepare.
Rehearsal Schedule
All regular rehearsals will take place at:
San Antonio Broadway Theatre
Rehearsals will be on Saturday’s starting November 14th from 10am-1pm. Some Tuesday evening rehearsals will be added.
Tech Rehearsal
Friday, January 22, 2027
5:00–10:00 PM
Second Act Productions
Tech rehearsal is mandatory for all cast members.
Performance
Saturday, January 23, 2027
Performances at 2pm & 6pm
Second Act Productions
Cast members will receive a separate call time for the performance.
Tuition
$550 per performer
Tuition includes the complete production experience, including:
All scheduled rehearsals
Production instruction and coaching
Performance participation
Production-related materials
Costuming and other required production expenses
There are no additional required production fees.
Tuition is due upon acceptance of a role in order to secure your performer’s place in the cast.
What Parents Should Know
Auditioning indicates that your family is available for the rehearsal, tech, and performance schedule listed above and is prepared to accept the tuition obligation if your performer is cast.
Casting decisions will be made based on the needs of the production, including vocal ability, acting, movement, ensemble balance, and overall fit for each role. Preparing a specific character packet does not guarantee casting in that role.
Our goal is to create a positive, educational, and professional production experience where every cast member is challenged to grow as an actor, singer, dancer, and collaborative member of an ensemble.
